Mission
Meeting the needs of patients requires careful planning. With the use of advanced means of transport, Falck Ambuce is able to provide maximum safety and comfort.

In the country
Falck Ambuce® has various locations (14) in and around the Province of Antwerp, greater Brussels, the Province of Limburg. Moreover, a comprehensive partnership was signed with Falck Tri-ac which, in turn, is active in West Flanders. Our dispatch is organized during the low periods from the headquarters in Wijnegem. During the day/peak periods the vehicles are operated regionally. All our vehicles are equipped with the latest communication technology. This enables the dispatcher to send the information through digitally and to follow the route strictly. This enables the client to enquire about the position of the vehicle and to determine the intervention time at all times.

Abroad
For our repatriations abroad the vehicles depart from our head office in Wijnegem. For the comfort of our unlucky travellers abroad, these vehicles are standardized equipped with reading material, air-conditioning, cooler box, sanitary provisions and, of course, DVD entertainment. Customised medical equipment will be provided, depending on the actual pathology. For these circumstances we have an extensive arsenal of medical equipment, as well as special medical equipment, for example a neonatal intensive care unit.     

Recognition
Falck Ambuce® is recognized by the federal public service health, food chain safety and environment. (VZW Ambumed – Non-profit organization Ambumed.) Our ambulances are engaged in the network of the Emergency Medical Assistance 'Service 100'. The lists of personnel are accordingly passed on to the Ministry of Health for control on a monthly basis.

Quality
The organisation adheres to the most demanding quality expectancies within the sector. A control of the car park every 6 months, extensive insurance (also for the patients inside the vehicle and their family members, optimal Civil Liability insurance), participation in and the implementation of the quality criteria for transporting a patient, are a minimal guarantee of our services.

Staff
Falck Ambuce® employs the most fulltime workers within the sector. We have a volunteer corps of approximately 650 people. All of our ambulance drivers have completed an Urgent Medical Assistance course and do update courses on a regular basis.
